Basics Requested Before New Features

I am hearing a lot of rumblings from the users I support that they want basic features or at least what they perceive as basic features to be what Blackboard Inc. adds into their Bb Learn platform. While my users do admit they would like screens to be more modernized and simplistic like Bb's competitors eventually, but what would impress them more is if Bb Inc would fix all the products known
